Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: May 1, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) applies to all access to and use of Intrepid Prime's products and services, including KYRO, Legal Intel Briefs, APIs, and any related tools (together, the “Services”). It is incorporated by reference into every Customer Agreement and into the Self-Serve Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Master Services Agreement or the Self-Serve Terms of Service, as applicable.
We may update this AUP from time to time by posting a revised version to intrepidprime.com. Updates take effect when posted. You are responsible for reviewing the AUP periodically.
Violation of this AUP is a material breach of the Customer Agreement or Self-Serve Terms of Service, as applicable, and may result in suspension or termination of access to the Services, in addition to any other remedies available to Intrepid Prime.
1. Prohibited conduct
You and your Authorized Users will not use the Services to:
1.1 Violate law or third-party rights
- engage in conduct that violates any applicable law, regulation, or court order, including export-control, sanctions, securities, antitrust, and privacy laws;
- infringe or misappropriate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party;
- defame, harass, threaten, or intimidate any person or group, or promote discrimination or violence;
- submit or process regulated personal data (including protected health information, children's data, or similarly sensitive categories) unless a data processing addendum expressly permitting such processing has been executed.
1.2 Compromise security
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, any account other than your own, or any system connected to the Services;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services or any related infrastructure;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage restrictions, or access controls;
- introduce viruses, worms, malware, or any code designed to interfere with the Services;
- share account credentials, or permit more than one individual to use a single named-user account.
1.3 Misuse Output or data
- use Output, Seller Technology, or any data obtained through the Services to train, fine-tune, benchmark, or evaluate any machine-learning model, artificial-intelligence system, or competing product;
- build or enrich a dataset intended to replicate, compete with, or substitute for the KYRO data asset;
- resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or offer the Services on a service-bureau basis to any third party;
- remove, obscure, or alter source citations, attributions, watermarks, or provenance information in Output;
- represent Output as your own proprietary research product for sale or license to third parties (you may, of course, incorporate Output into your own work product for use with your own clients or internal decision-making);
- share Output publicly in a manner that (a) implies an endorsement by Intrepid Prime of any particular conclusion, (b) constitutes unfair or deceptive trade practices, or (c) violates the terms of your Customer Agreement.
1.4 Interfere with the Services
- automate queries or interactions with the Services in a manner not authorized in your Customer Agreement;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, architecture, data schema, or training data of the Services;
- use the Services in a manner likely to interfere with other customers' access, to degrade performance, or to cause outages;
- use the Services in connection with any time-critical or mission-critical system, any system for which a failure of the Services could cause personal injury, death, or environmental harm, or any autonomous decisioning that materially affects a person's legal rights, employment, creditworthiness, or liberty.
2. Use with clients, matters, and third parties
Many of our customers are law firms and advisors who use the Services in the course of work for their own clients. Those uses are permitted, provided that:
- the Output is incorporated into your own professional work product and is subject to your independent professional judgment;
- you remain responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of any advice or deliverable you produce; and
- you do not give your clients direct access to the Services as if they were Authorized Users unless they have executed a separate Customer Agreement with Intrepid Prime.
3. Artificial intelligence & Output
The Services include artificial-intelligence features that generate probabilistic Output. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Output must be reviewed by a qualified professional before being relied upon for any decision with legal, financial, regulatory, or operational significance;
- Output does not constitute legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice;
- similar or identical prompts may produce similar or identical Output for other customers, and Intrepid Prime does not claim exclusivity in any specific Output;
- certain categories of federal procurement data (for example, Other Transaction Agreements) are systematically underreported in public sources and therefore in Output, as further described in our AI & Output Disclosure.
4. Reporting abuse
If you believe any person is using the Services in violation of this AUP, please report it to abuse@intrepidprime.com with as much detail as you can share. We investigate reports in good faith and will take action we deem appropriate, which may include suspension or termination of the offending account, notification to law enforcement, or legal action.
5. Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services, remove Output from our systems, and take any other action we reasonably believe appropriate to enforce this AUP. We may do so without prior notice if we reasonably believe a violation threatens the security, integrity, or availability of the Services, or the rights of other customers or third parties. Where practicable, we will give you notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure.
